The Waters Urban Village
The Waters Urban Village is a mixed-use development proposed by Terracon Development Limited. It would occupy 110 acres at the southwest corner of Dugald Road and Mazenod Road. It is bounded by the Greater Winnipeg Water District Railroad to the south and industrial properties to the west. The division has proposed construction of a new dual-track elementary school in this neighbourhood (see ). Funding of new school construction is the purview of the provincial government. The Board of Trustees will designate catchment schools when development plans advance.
