The Career Centre at LRATC
The LRATC Career Centre offers industry-driven career development services to all students enrolled in the school's 13 applied, technical and apprenticeship programs.
The Career Centre weaves the Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning's Global Competencies into all programming and learning experiences.
THE LRATC CAREER CENTRE TEAM EMPOWERS STUDENTS TO:
- Connect with professional communities to build support networks beyond school walls
 - Facilitate Apprenticeship Manitoba discussions and paperwork
 - Write professional résumés, cover letters, and references applicable to their programs and career aspirations
 - Manage personal career pathing with relevant industry research, job searches, and (ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s online career management program)
 - Engage employment-seeking protocols to earn internship experiences, apprenticeships and paid employment
 - Join the Connect Your Dots program for deeper explorations and questions about career paths that connect to personal skills, values and hopes for the future
 - Complete an optional high school credit: Grade 12 Career Development: Transitioning to the Workplace, University or College
 - Leave LRATC with confidence to execute a thoughtful plan to seek employment and/or further education.
