The Corporation Arms is an 18th Century Country Inn with excellent food, good wines, real ales, two log fires for the winter, and a spacious beer garden at the rear, overlooking the reservoir.
We are a traditional family run Country Inn, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere. We are set in the heart of the picturesque Ribble Valley with views overlooking the reservoir.
With five rooms, four of which are air-conditioned and all ensuite, we are the ideal location for business, tourists, walkers, or anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing break.
It is also reputed that Oliver Cromwell stopped to water his horse in 1648 whilst en route from Mr Sherburns residence of Stony Hurst, which is now Stonyhurst College.
